The year of 2013 marks a significant milestone in the development of full-time undergraduate progammes of HKU SPACE as the Centre for Degree Programmes (CDP) marches into its 10th anniversary.
Under its motto “Education with a Global Vision”, CDP was set up in 2003 to offer full-time overseas university degree programmes in collaboration with overseas universities, providing local sub-degree graduates a pathway to undergraduate education.
As with a renowned university, a good degree programme requires many years of refinement and public recognition. The history of many world ranked universities can be tracked back in terms of decades and even in centuries, including some of our partners like the University of London and the University of Western Australia, both established for more than a century and are ranked in the World’s Top 100.
Over the past ten years, CDP has endeavored to train students with a holistic approach to professional training and continuously improve the value and quality of its programmes to ensure the best interest of students are being met in terms of meeting highest international standard. I am sure that our students, graduates and colleagues can benefit from these global partnerships which will further establish CDP as an international exemplar for employment, further studies and continuing professional development with a global vision.
