Apart from writing skills, this programme provided me with exposure
to a range of issues in media and cultural studies and enhanced my
critical analysis of cultures. The media skills have been
most useful in dealing with clients from various
backgrounds and in event management.
In 2007, Middlesex obtained Skillset Media Academy
status by the UK Government Department for
Innovation, Universities and Skills. This distinction
recognises the excellence and forward-looking
focus of the University’s media-related courses and
education delivered to students.
Diana Chan
Diana Chan graduated from CIDP with
a BA (Hons) Publishing, Media and
Cultural Studies awarded by Middlesex
University in 2010 after completing
her AD study in Hong Kong Baptist
University. After graduation, she
joined the Hong Kong Convention and
Exhibition Centre as an Event Manager.
Diana is now in the UK, studying a
MA Communication and International
Marketing in the University of Surrey. Middlesex
