Social Science offers an insight into many different aspects of our lives as individuals and as part of society. It covers a range of areas including sociology, psychology, criminology and politics, etc. Study of social science help students to gain a comprehensive understanding of society, culture and human interaction. It also has significance to foster students’ ability of critical and analytical thinking through training students to assimilate and interpret vastly differing viewpoints and information in the context of social theories and practices.
