Being the British Council TNE scholarship recipient gave me great confidence in my abilities. This inspired me to believe that I could make a successful career out of a prestigious international undergraduate media programme at Middlesex.
Through studying the Degree Programme of Sociology in this college, there are enough time and platform for me to achieve mastery different concept in the course. Both the lecturer from the UK and the tutor from HK are patient to answer our questions and use a lot of example to elaborate to us. On the other hand, the college provided a great opportunity to transfer to the UK for the final year. The coming year must be a rare chance for me to widen my horizon on both academic development and life experience. And I will treasure this year.
We need to make critical decisions throughout our lives. Choosing to study a top-up degree in HKU SPACE International College is one of the best decisions made in my life. I have found my ideal career path after studying this programme, and started my job in the advertising field. I enjoy the positive study atmosphere in IC very much. Peers are helping each other with valuable advice and experience sharing. We study, play and grow up together. I will never forget the study journey in IC.
Also, I was one of the class representatives, responsible for being the communicator between fellow classmates and the school. Different units of the school are willing to listen and are committed to improving students’ learning experience.
I have gained a lot from the BSc(Hons) Business Management programme. Apart from the knowledge on management and entrepreneurship, through my study experience and interaction with my Plymouth’s mentor, has enable me to view life from a different perspective. It definitely changed me! I would like to recommend you to join this program. I believe that your life will be more fruitful too.
The interactive approach to multimedia training and practice developed my interest in media culture and helped me decide to pursue a career in the media sector. I can now harness various media technologies which help me to achieve high job performance in content development and online promotion for my company’s publication.
This programme gave me opportunities to develop my interest and find my goal. The UWA professors’ visiting lectures in Hong Kong are inspirational and enlightening. The on-campus transfer to Perth further enriched my university life. The precious moments with my international classmates will never be forgotten.
My name is Benson Ho, a current graduate of the BA (Hons) Sport Development with Coaching programme. This degree program not only allowed me to acquire the most relevant sport development and sport coaching knowledge, but it also allowed me to explore my potential and opportunity in a sport-related career. During the whole journey of degree study, I had the chance to gain a lot of profound sport coaching knowledge and experience in applying the knowledge into practice. I also expanded my social network in the sport industry in the placement. Indeed, as a mature student, there were a lot of challenges in studying a full-time bachelor degree programme. Yet, the comprehensive 18 months of full-time study provided me a chance to complete what I would like to be as a degree holder. Furthermore, this degree was also listed in HKQF Level 5 that would further benefit my career development. After all, I enjoyed studying a lot in this programme.
This eighteen-month international undergraduate programme provided me and my fellow classmates with a remarkable learning environment and academic context, as well as excellent experiences in the sports industry. The most unforgettable and marvelous event in my university life was organizing a real-life sporting event “Cheung Chau Island Run 2015” with over 120 participants. The event was successfully conducted by my excellent team over a three-month period. University life is a special, unique and unforgettable experience where your friendly classmates can become your life-long partners!
Studying Sport Management was not my first priority after my HKDSE study. As an active person and sports lover, I finally joined the Higher Diploma in in Sport and Recreation Management programme in which I found my interest and my strength. Then I continued studying in Bachelor of Science (Honours) Sport Management. I learnt a lot in these few years and I visited sport and recreation clubs, facilities and I precious chance to have placement in sport organization. I had an opportunity to organise a sport event. With those learning experience, this programme well equipped myself to develop my career in sport and recreation industry. I am so glad to be the HKUSPACE IC student Currently I am working in the Pure Fitness and I am sure that sports will always be part of my life.
