New try! IC is joining hands with SOCIAL CAREEER in a new way of doing voluntary services.

We have Google HK offer incentive to our volunteer program and support FREE Google AdWords Certification Trainings to student participants who fulfill the following requirements:

                 Step 1: Join our briefing session at Google HK office!

         [7 Feb, 2018 (Wed) 2:30-4:30pm]

        Google HK Office, Tower 2, Times Square, 1 Matheson St, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong

What are we doing?
1. Sign up as a Social Career volunteer

2. Register for Digital Garage, a free digital marketing skill online training program offered by Google, and complete 6 modules (estimated 35mins)

3. Confirm on 3 volunteer services to attend
Social Career, Google and NGO representatives will introduce the program details. IC has arranged 3 volunteer services for IC students with NGOs. By submitting the application form, participant confirms that he/ she has read and agree to the program rules and terms.

                Step 2: Complete 3 volunteer services by end of March, NGO partners included:

1. Hong Kong Federation of Women's Centres
2. Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service
3. Saving Cat And Dog Association
4. The Jane Goodall Institute

Step 3: Receive a Volunteer Certificate at the Closing Ceremony at Google Office 

[end of March/ April]

Participants who have completed Step 1 & 2 will receive a Volunteer Certificate offered by Social Career & a reference letter from International College.

Step 4: Finish all Digital Garage training modules (estimated 1 day) and get certified by 30 Jun, 2018.

Participants will be eligible to enjoy in-person Google AdWords certification trainings.

About Google AdWords Certification Trainings

The Google AdWords certification is a professional accreditation (internationally recognized) that Google offers to individuals who demonstrate proficiency in basic and advanced aspects of AdWords.

§  Individual needs to pass the Google Garage - digital marketing skill online training program exam (complete 6 modules)  

§  Individual needs to pass 2 exams to become AdWords certified, Fundamentals and one of the advanced modules.
