During my studies, I had a work placement at the Hong Kong Red Cross. I was responsible for co-ordinating sports and recreation events. I took part in organizing the venue and its design, following up its run-down, and collecting the questionnaires from the audience after the events. Through this experience, I consolidated my learning about the implementation of sports and recreation events which helped with my career prospects. I currently work as an Assistant Program Officer in Hong Kong Baptist Assembly, and am responsible for adventure based training. The knowledge gained from the placement enabled me to adapt to my job rapidly.
