The education and experience gained in this programme has equipped me with a working knowledge in Japanese language and culture. The internship programme at IC gave me a precious opportunity to work in a Japanese Inn for 2 months. Through this internship, I was able to develop and improve my Japanese especially with regard to my listening and speaking skills. In addition to Japanese colleagues, I had a chance to work directly with colleagues from Taiwan and Indonesia. As our mother languages are not Japanese, I also needed to use Mandarin and English to talk with them, further enhancing my communications skills.
