Since 1996, the Food and Nutrition subject group in HKU SPACE has been offering an extensive range of programmes in food and nutrition to those with a personal or professional interest in the field.

Our flagship programme, the Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics, is the only local programme that trains students to be dietitians. Graduates are qualified for employment as dietitians in Hong Kong with the Department of Health and the Hospital Authority. They are also eligible to apply for registration as dietitians with the Health and Care Professions Council in the United Kingdom.
