Programme Overview

Criminology investigates a range of theoretical and policy issues relating to the extent, nature and distribution of crime, explanations of crime, the control of crime, including crime prevention, policing, the operation of the criminal justice process and methods of punishment, the nature and extent of crime victimisation, and the role of victims in the criminal justice system.
