Studying Marketing and Management at The University of Hull was a transformative chapter in my life, both academically and personally. From the moment I arrived on campus, I was immersed in a dynamic learning environment that challenged me to think critically, creatively, and strategically. The programme offered a strong foundation in core business principles while allowing me to explore the evolving world of marketing, from consumer behaviour and branding to digital strategy and analytics. What stood out most was the balance between theory and practice. Lecturers brought real-world insights into the classroom, and group projects mirrored the collaborative nature of the workplace. I particularly enjoyed modules that focused on strategic marketing and international business, which broadened my perspective and prepared me for global challenges. Beyond academics, The University of Hull provided a vibrant student life and I got to build friendships that continue to enrich my life today. The support from faculty and career services helped me gain confidence in my abilities. Looking back, The University of Hull didn’t just equip me with a degree, it shaped my mindset. It taught me to be adaptable, innovative, and resilient in a fast-changing business world. I’m proud to be an alumnus and grateful for the journey that began there.

The programme stands out for its close connection with UAL’s creative community and extensive professional network, which offer valuable opportunities for collaboration and growth. What I find most distinctive is the freedom to explore a wide range of media topics, encouraging independent thinking and creativity. This experience has helped me clarify my academic direction and strengthened my passion for working in the media field. Through hands-on projects, industry-led workshops, and real-world research opportunities, the course bridges theory and practice. It also equips me with critical, analytical, and creative skills that will support both my future studies and career ambitions in the ever-evolving media landscape.

This programme opened doors for us to explore the professional world of graphic design, while sharpening both our creative thinking and hands-on design skills.

The University of London degree at HKU SPACE has equipped me with both analytical and critical thinking skills, which has prepared me for my master’s degree. Studying at the LSE and learning from world-class academics have not only widened my perspective, but also exposed me to various fields of study. Having had the opportunity to further my study at the LSE is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity I will forever cherish.

The BA programme in advertising and public relations was a transformative experience for me. It sharpened my ability to communicate and helped me see how important these fields are today. The courses were a great mix of real-world skills and challenging ideas. They pushed me to be creative and tackle tough problems. This programme gave me what I needed to do well in my job and prepared me for further study.

During my studies, I embarked on a transformative journey that significantly shaped my personal and professional growth. One memorable experience involved working in a diverse team to develop a proposal for a UK-based medical company, highlighting the benefits of expanding their operations into another country. This project taught me the importance of collaboration and cross-cultural communication, as we explored market opportunities and potential challenges. Balancing rigorous academic demands with extracurricular activities also presented its own challenges, but it instilled in me a strong sense of resilience and time management. These experiences have not only enriched my education but also inspired me to pursue a career where I can make a positive impact in the business world.

“Building on my previous education on Food Health and Business Management, the degree programme has equipped me with solid and practical knowledge in hospitality management. I learnt a lot from both overseas and local teachers through lectures, class activities and field trips. After graduation, I am very pleased to work in a Michelin-starred French restaurant in an upscale hotel so as to deepen my hospitality knowledge. Since this degree programme is recognized worldwide, I have already planned to pursue a Master degree qualification overseas.”

This programme expands my knowledge and skills in analysing media and culture and producing media messages. Not only does the curriculum enlighten my understanding of cultural phenomenon and train my critical thinking skills, it also helps me learn how to put theories into practice through media production workshops. On top of the local lecturers’ teaching, the collaborative sessions with UAL students and teachers broaden my horizon and allow me to have a chance to learn more about arts and culture worldwide. Thanks to the scholarship and bursary offered by UAL and HKU SPACE, I can have the opportunity to study this exciting programme.

It was an enlightening journey filled with challenges and excitements, the knowledge and experiences from the programmes provided me a strong foundation in developing my business “50+ Exercise Buddy”. I have experienced supports from all levels, my lecturers demonstrated how quality of teaching can make a difference in learning whilst administration staff were helpful. I was most grateful to receive Outstanding Performance Scholarship for 2 consecutive years.

If you are also an inspiring aviator or your dream career is to work in the Aviation Industry in the future, it is no doubt the Bachelor of Aviation Management will take you for a flight to your right path. It is an eye-opening course that will allow you to experience flying into the skies of Melbourne, Australia, while at the same time test your understanding of the principles of aviation marketing and aviation regulation and operations. The Swinburne University of Technology provided us with courses that helped us steer our knowledge to nurture further and explore the study of aviation. This degree in Aviation Management significantly helps me maneuver my skills and talents into becoming a competent pilot in the Aviation Industry one day.
